About The International Woman Leadership Conference
The International Woman Leadership Conference is an initiative of Ibukun Awosika Leadership that brings women across Africa and the diaspora together in a place of knowledge, empowerment, and entertainment.
In 34 years of building a manufacturing group and being involved in corporate work across several boards and companies both in Nigeria and beyond, Ibukun Awosika has come to realize that women are not only technically competent at all levels, but are driven, ambitious, and desire to be valuable additions to their organizations and nations. There is however a gap between technical knowledge and other necessary skills required to compete effectively with men in the place of leadership.
Why Attend?
Women hold power in silos across multiple fronts, but unfortunately, that power is not connected and the interconnectivity of the power will help to create the superpower that enables women to support themselves across multiple platforms, creating a network of relationships, thereby adding value to their communities, corporations, and nations.
Partnership With Dubai Tourism
The International Woman Leadership Conference will hold annually in Dubai in partnership with Dubai Tourism to provide an engaging platform where all the issues hindering women’s interconnectivity are examined in order to remove them, thereby enabling women to move forward, united in the strength that is critical to changing the story of our nations.
The first conference took place from the 29th to 31st of March, 2022, significantly the last three days of International Women’s Month. The Woman Leadership Conference by Ibukun Awosika Leadership empowers and equip women to competitively add value in every space they occupy. This will be the true celebration of our Women Leaders.
